8th Street Academy is Hiring an Elementary Teacher Near Gresham, OR

Elementary Classroom Instructor responsible for supervising, educating, and supporting students from a Biblical foundation. Duties include direct instruction, lesson planning, classroom management, team collaboration, and communication with parents to promote student learning and improvement.
8th Street Academy is a Private Christian school serving Pre-School thru Middle School. We are a 4 Day A Week school allowing teachers to utilize Fridays for professional development, team collaboration, lesson planning, and grading. Our class sizes are small! (18 in lower elementary grades and 22 in upper grades). We have Teaching Assistants and Aides on site assisting with classes and activities to support our students and teachers.
Compensation:
Our teachers receive salary, health stipend & retirement, and tuition benefits. Salary is based on experience and education. Candidates who have prior teaching experience and training are preferred, but first time teachers are encouraged to apply.
